Just before he's mentioned, I think Perch is an okay squad player, he's not on big wages so I don't mind having him here. If he were to leave for regular football I wouldn't be too upset though.

<EDIT> Spoke too soon! <laugh>

Hahaha, sorry, but it just angered me to no avail, I live outside London and am the biggest footy fan out of my group of friends and my hate for perchinho has rubbed off on some of them but like you say the lad is a good squad player and willl play anywhere, would not surprise me to see him in goal in a crisis, but i just HATE him! Okay maybe hate is a strong word but....... he is James Perch

I think all of them will go, apart from Shola and maybe Ranger. We will try to bin him, but not sure if there will be many takers.

Harper and Forster will also leave I think.

i see we still havent got rid of the deadwood ,cant we send the ****e to darlington for free id personally give them all a lift there

We won't get rid of Shola, but at the moment he is way too close to the first team and ends up getting too many games. He should be used as a last resort only, and in cameo appearances - we can't expect him to play full or back to back games, his body has given out on him after so many nasty injuries. He is a dressing room leader who cares about the club very much though and doesn't mind being on the sidelines, but like I say simply isn't capable of playing as regular as he is right now. When Ba and Cisse get back that'll be more like it, fourth or fifth in the pecking order is where he should be.

The issue is the wages he's on which I'm not sure exactly what they are. Thing is it's flavour of the month to give Shola grief at the moment because of a couple of bad games, he's actually done very well and been an asset for us this season when used sparingly.

I kind of agree here - better keep him for games like Blackburn where we are lacking physical presence or someone to hold the ball up.

Come the Rapture, Shola and the cockroaches will climb out of the rubble of SJP and Shola will go onto rebuild the club stone by stone, train the cockroaches into a Barca style team and manage them to a never ending run of league titles.

45,000,000 years in the future the new dominant species of planet Earth will look upon Wor God Shola as the creator.

Ranger can go and be a gangster elsewhere.
Smith will run his contract down.
Lover will seek pastures new.
Xisco will be loaned or an agreement will be reached to simply cancel the contract.
Perch will stay.

i'd rather keep shola than best.

we could actually get some money for offloading best, and as 4th choice strikers go they're much the same level. only problem is, we need to buy a good back up to bridge the gap.

Smith, Kadar and Lover - out of contract, wont be renewed
Shola - dont be silly, he's never leaving
Xisco - no one will pay money for him, one final loan to Depor before his contract runs down (2013)
Forster - sold to Celtic
Ranger - hopefully someone will take him off our hands, I think a Championship club will take a punt on him
Harper - I think he'll be allowed to leave if he requests a transfer, if not he'll stay another year

ba, cisse, new striker, shola

in that order.

btw - considering best has played "much of this season", 4 goals is a poor return

Shola's 1 goal is no better, he's done nothing to suggest he should be considered above Best. There's room for both of them in our squad.
