Am i just being dumb and missed something but has Lee actually signed for us yet..? His work permit was granted two weeks ago, what could be taking two weeks to do if his contract, permit, fitness test and fee are all sorted?

Also William Hill have a goal scoring market for tonight giving him 6/4 to score.... Not great odds if he isnt actually a Saints player yet! :p

He's taking so long because he's moving his whole life from one country to another :)

Or because something has gone drastically wrong and he won't be joining us .

That leaves us needing 2 strikers in 9 days or so , hope i'm wrong , but not sure I am ................

Not so sure about the odds.....but although he has been granted a work permit in the technical sense. It hasn't arrived in the physical sense. Until the british emabassy get their finger out to actually issue it......Usually takes about 14 days from exceptance to issue is my understanding. What surprises me though is when Pahars had all that trouble years ago he actually was over here training with the squad awaiting his permit. So why isn't Lee?

Because he's moving his entire life. Now please both you and the doom monger up there pay attention! If someone said to you you've got 2-3 weeks to move from 1 house to another you'd be hesitant of getting it done in time now imagine you've got to do that from country to country! Move your possessions via aeroplane and have the intentions of the japanese and (to an extent) english press its a stressful and time consuming process and I don't blame the guy at all for taking this long! Christ its a miracle if he makes it anywhere before deadline day.

All the negotiations would have been going on for ages, and he's been at the club (Saints) so I'd be surprised if he's suddenly changed his mind. Stranger things have happened I know, but sure its gonna be sorted soon.

Didn't Adkins mention something about the Millwall game the other night in one of his interviews? In respect of playing that is.

Fair enough but I'm sure your quite an exception and had been planning it for ages. In the large majority of cases it's complicated. And yeah frankimus I meant Jasper :)

Steal a loaf of bread did we Beddy? <whistle> I expect the courts acted quicker back when we were still transporting people to Australia, hence only 4 days to prepare
