Today I see Puncheon is back in the news, having openly criticised chairman Nicola Cortese on Twitter. To make matters worse the article using his quotes is at the forefront on the BBC sports page: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16678939.stm .
Following his agents comments suggesting that Saints were demanding too much money for the out of favour striker it seems that both are keen to engineer a move, however with clubs on tenterhooks in the knowledge that Puncheon wants to leave this will lead to paltry bids for the want-away player, who is clearly talented.
Clearly while he is at the club he will continue to draw negative press and undermine the management, but if we sell him what precedence does it set that one players will can overcome the club.
So in this situation, how would you resolve it?
