Thought i'd start a thread for updates to how Ivory Coast are doing so we can keep up with Drog n Kalous form aswell.
1st game today they won 1-0, Drogba heading in the goal from a Kalou Cross
 
<laugh> Not a bad start eh! Not really what Torres needs to hear though.
 
Why? It's a good thing to hear, wish they both got hat-tricks because it might make him up his game

Because with them in form in Africa, they're more likely to go straight back into our line up. Well Drogba is anyway.

Exactly, and what's the only thing that will prevent them from going straight back into the line-up? Torres banging some ****ing goals in lol !!
 
I am no longer going into each game hoping for Torres to score. What happens happens. I cant take the heartache anymore. Cheeky Cavani bid beckons if it keeps going this way though.
 
I agree with what AVB said yesterday though, theirs no point in buying Hazard,Cavani,Higuain and any other big names in January because they will be cup-tied so whats the point if they can't play CL, better off assessing in full at the end of the season.If we were looking at a striker we shoulda got keane on loan for a few months or try and get Eto on loan for a few months because i'm sure the Russian League break is coming up or has started
 
I'm sure we'll get another player this window. I haven't a clue who though!
 
When do we play Napoli? I hope they play us how they've been playing lately then we should beat them comfortably because i've been keeping a eye on their results lately and they've been ****
 
21st Feb and 14th March.

Yeah they've had a couple of close shaves. We should be ok if we defend like we have recently, hopefully we can ease Cahill into the squad aswell incase we get a few injuries! Going TO Napoli will be hard though, I remember Butch saying it was the hardest place to go to when he played for Milan!

If we can go through on the 14th, we have Spurs after that so it could be great momentum!
 
Napoli is full of ferals. Very tough place to live. Some areas have higher crime rates than Liverpool !!!!!!!!!!! Stealing from your mother is taught in kindergarten there.
Expect the stadium to be a cauldron of whistles and intimidation. What odds the ref losing his bottle and awarding a penalty against Chelsea ?? 10 to 1 ON.
A point there would be like winning 5 nil.

Ivory coast win again, 3-0 this time with Drog getting the first two !! Then yaya toure scoring to make it 3
