Norwich
I’ve been watching the Canaries for some 10 years now (yes, I know a mere ‘whippersnapper’!!) and would just like to say how impressed I am with some of our performances this season and if any indication were needed of how we’ve progressed, then I think we need look no further than the game against Chelsea. Not only did we prevent them from scoring – thanks to a mixture of brilliant defending, excel lent goalkeeping (I’ve always been a fan of JR) and the £50M man being on a woeful run of form; but we also created chances of our own (though not according to MOTD with their ‘unbiased’ pundits) and should definitely have had a penalty.

I accept that there is still a LONG way to go, but I’m becoming more and more confident that we’ll still be playing in the PL next year. Why – because of our manager and his willingness to change the team and formation each week and having players of sufficient quality and skill to be able to carry out the changes. The ‘12th man‘ in the shape of the massive support from the crowd both home and away has an important role to play in cheering our team on to achieve what only a few years ago was beyond our WILDEST dreams.

There are no ‘easy’ or ‘must win’ games, but if we can at least avoid defeat to the teams below us, then we’ll be OK.
Will 40 points be enough to stay up – who knows?? As can be seen from yesterday’s results, anything is possible, though the gap between us and 18th is increasing, so let’s hope it stays that way or at least doesn’t diminish rapidly.

Whilst I’d like us to finish in the top 10, I’m also a realist and as PL often says, “17th will do very nicely!!!”

You mention being a City fan for about 10 years, which reminded me of a challenge I saw on the internet recently: Can you name every Norwich player of the last decade?

It's not completely up to date, but I think it has everyone from the 2000-01 until February 2010. As a benchmark, I scored a nice round 100. Good luck!

I actually thought MotD was quite fair for a change. Showed us to be the better side in the first half and Chelsea the better in the second. Definitely wasn't a penalty, although it should have been a free kick an a booking as Meireles had just been cautioned for catching the ball about a minute earlier.

Welcome sir! I made the mistake about the penalty. Didn't know about it till I got home but it was outside.

Watching the last few season has been like watching a movie, we punched and clawed our way to the top and we aren't going anywhere. This county deserves a Premier League team and I think we can bring a lot to represent our part of the country in the top league in football, I believe, anywhere in the world.

We can't afford to be complacent but I don't think Lambert knows the meaning of the word. He will drag us over the finishing line.

About 80% of those players show why we were so bad for large chunks of that decade.

72. Also forgot some obvious ones!

Looking through the list of players there are some that I am glad I forgot. We really have had some awful players!

I spent so long trying to spell Pesichosolido, Pechisolido, Pesckisolido....Roberts, that I managed to forget the Doc!
