If anyone's interested in this I can send them the details on how to receive it, it's quite simple really.

Why send them instead of just posting the link to it? Google and links on boards seem to provide what's needed, or do you have some other version? There's doesn't seem to be on site that fits all so links from trusted posters seem to be favoured. A list of TV games is easy enough to find, there are several sites set up just for that...like THIS ONE CLICKETY CLICK
Because there's a few steps you need to do before you can receive Al Jazeera Sports, that link doesn't show what Al Jazeera show, these do though. http://www.en.aljazeerasport.tv/Schedule (this site is under going maintainence at the minute) http://liveonsat.com/2_day.php
And it's not as simple as just posting a link like this http://liveonsat.com/2_day.php and going "there you go".
One reply would do. You can always edit the second bit in. Stuff like that gets posted when the match is on, with game specific and region specific bits added. I was just checking there wasn't some other way of doing it that we've all been missing.
Are you talking about the same thing as me? I'm talking about LEGALLY receiving Al Jazeera Sports, not streaming over the internet.
I'm talking about both really. People post links to all sorts of sites on here. If it's free and legal as you say, why not just pop it up on here instead of lots of emails? PS a quick google found this one that works. Is it legal? http://www.freetv-watch.com/qatar/al-jazeera-sports.html
Loads of emails? lol, what you talking about? I've told you it's not as easy as just "popping" a link up, it does involve other things, it's not streaming over the internet, it has nothing to do with the internet, I'm talking about satellite TV.
Seems easy enough to me looking at a quick google. Plenty of sites like this one. Al jazeera extra channel settings. I'm struggling to see the mystery. If you can answer by email and it's legal, surely the same info could just be posted?
I said earlier I don't see the need to set it up when a working link's just one click away. I also said that was one of a number on google. In stead of trying to be a smug smart arse, why not just explain why whatever you'd send on request can't just be posted on here? I'll tell you what, could you send me the information as you've offered? Cheers.
I'll do both. I'm not been a smug smart arse, I'm a bit miffed as why you think you clued up on all this when you clearly don't know anything about it. I've offered to give out information as a alternative to Sky Sports, thats all.
I've clearly said I don't know about it and that's why I was so intrigued by you trying to be all mysterious and smug. It just seems odd that I'm supposed to understand something via a PM that I wouldn't understand on the board. Uless the 'legal' bit's debatable. I'll have a look through what you send. Ta.
Jesus Christ, I was going to post it on the board anyway, I was just asking whether anyone was interested...
My apologies, I must have misunderstood when you said you couldn't post it up because it wasn't straightforward. At least we've got there in the end. Are you still sending me it on PM?
Yes, that makes sense for what it is. I've seen that sort of thing before. As your method needs an additional dish, LNB, receiver, decoder etc. I reckon clicking the free link I posted earlier in this thread's cheaper and easier, but to each their own. **EDIT** The PM info, to save mystery. To receive it you need a few things: A satellite pointing at Hotbird 13e, the sky satellite is 28.2e so you would need a 2nd dish (sky dish will be fine) or a single bigger dish with a diseqc switch (more on that later). If you only wanted one dish on your home you'd need a 60cm (minimum size) with a LNB arm bracket as you'd need two LNB's, (assuming you still want to pick up english satellite stations) one pointing at 28.2e and one pointing at 13e, if you are setting up the satellites yourself then you'll also need a sat finder to locate 13e. A satellite receiver with a CI slot. A Viaccess CAM that slots into the CI slot on the satellite receiver. A Al Jazeera card the slots into the CAM on your satellite receiver. Website you can use to roughly locate 13e. http://www.dishpointer.com/ Diseqc switch http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DiSEqC-Sat...item2318037d04 Sat Finder http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SATELLITE-...item1c1cc72139 Sat receiver with CI slot http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SilverCres...item1e6a2126a6 CAM and Al Jazeera Card http://www.techdigital.co.uk/product...-Viaccess.html
