what a fantastic man Niall Quinn is, speaks fantastically and is so passionate and genuinely loves Sunderland and Sunderland Football Club. I hope the people who watch the games illegally in the pub are watching goals on sunday and realise now is the time to get behind the club.
I love niall me great insight there, "the premier league is not for David milliband" loved that quote
I know I'm biased but what a great advert for our club, both talking down to honest opinion and they look like a cracking team.
Thanks for the heads up Syd. Was watching the cricket but quickly Sky plussed Goals on Sunday when I saw your update. Agree with all previous posters the two of them look like a class team. They are a great advert for our club and well done to Brucie for (eventually) admitting that the offside probably wasn't. I was lucky enough to be there yesterday and I've got to say in real time it looked a mile offside so can understand the lino's mistake. One observation from the game yesterday. I blagged a couple of seats in the Arsenal end and from where we were sitting the Sunderland fans seemed a little subdued yesterday especially given the fantastic fight we put up. Don't know what others think?
Niall Quinn is my hero and just incase I haven't told you before he always winks at me! Seriously , how anyone is not proud to be a Sunderland fan at ths moment in time is beyond me. Really enjoyed the banter.
I've just finished watching it (it was recorded) and the presenter (can't remember his name), to my delight read out "An email from Chris Anderson asking if you're going to sign Danny Welbeck in the summer". That's my name!!! Watch this space, I'll have been the one to push that deal through!
If only! I'll have a quick word with Bob Murray, he lives down the road from me! (This isn't a joke, he really does!)
Somebody on the SMB has put a bit of the show on YouTube for um (like me) who don't have Sky or who missed it. I hope we can save more of it for posterity. Quinny is magnetic - that's the only term I can think of right now. I never can hear enough of what he has to say.
