Following Mr Higgs posting on the website and interview with Geoff Twentyman do you agree with the facts that as a management team the board have failed for some time now, not only to appoint the right manager, especially with the recent appointment of Chuckle, also they appear unwilling to acknowledge any culpability in the recent run of poor manager selection and should at the very least bring in outside help to get a manager who is fit for the club on a longer term basis.:emoticon-0121-angry

They should also consider appointing a new communications director/manager to improve the flow of information between the supporters and other outside agencies including the press.:emoticon-0127-lipss :emoticon-0115-inlov

In the real commercial world (I realise this is football) the shareholders would have called for the CEO/MD/Chairman and board to be changed or sacked and fresh experienced faces brought into with a plan to steer the club out of its current predicament.:bandit:

As for the comments on Campbell from Higgs I felt they were dissapointing, also the team that were relegated from L1 were vastly superior to the the shambles of a conference one assembled under Buckle and North and sanctioned by him and the board.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

Considering this abject failure it is my opinion in order to obtain a fresh start North should also pay the ultimate price and leave the club, when the new manager is appointed, it was poor to alledgly say that North would have got the nod ahead of Cambell had he still been at the club..... why??:emoticon-0149-no:

Campbell again in my opinion would have made a great number 2 under the next manager.

As for a new management team although it probably will not happen Tilson and Curle were floated as a possible new lineup for Manager and assistant.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Ok you have a magic wand gasheads, what do all of you think should happen.<magic>

Do one then you f**king tinpot. We watch this team week in week out and no that North is not the answer. The players are playing better and giving more because they know a new manager is watching and know that they will not be slagged off to the press if they make a mistake.

Cambs would have made an excellent assistant manager, knows the club inside out.

It would be hard to call for the board or board members to resign over their failures with the new stadium development on the horizon, it could set the whole thing back years. So we're stuck with them.

I also agree with Mangos comment "Do one then you ****ing tinpot." but wish to add "****" at the end if that's agreeable <ok>

sorry if i was too provocative, yes i agree with you partially, but surely it is down to a happier dressing room followind the departure of pb. if it is down to a happier d/room, all i am saying is a little of any praise should rub off on north. i doubt he is endewed with much experience, and that is why you should do what plymouth are about to do. appoint s o'driscoll as head coach/mentor to a very inexperienced manager. any way north may make it 5 points from 3 games if he is allowed to stay that long.

sadly with a new manager it is new this, new that and no guarantees.

do not worry aj is f******g going, lord help thisthread when cg gets to it. sadly it is obvious that dialogue and discussion have to be one sided on the gas boards. i wish you luck with higgs choice of manager, i certainly am not confident for one

Good to see some friendly banter started whilst I was away, perhaps North is not all bad however he has been working with this team since they joined and it has not worked, also the formation and team selection has been somewhat hobsons choice as Cary was not avaliable which meant that the defence got more protection down the flanks. We still were toothless in attack though.

A new manager does not guarantee success look at City's results ,however there not to bad and the new manager is bringing some stability to the club and signing new players which we hope will happen at the mem.

To right Mangooo they were all playing for contracts and being retained by the new manager, good to see Cambs getting support from Ye Olde<ok>

I felt that although we lacked quality on Sat they all put in a good shift to keep the wolf from the door. Bolger must of headed the ball over 100 times to clear the lines! We must keep the momentum going, very worried about the goalscoring though.

We need a fresh start in the boardroom and on the field however ye olde is right perhaps it would set the stadium plans back although we could bring in a couple of experienced execs to oversee some changes and challenge the current boards decisions.
