Alright lads, how's buying the league going ? <ok>

Only joking, should be a good game, seems like a lifetime ago that you gave us our first defeat of the season. Old manager coming back as well, still confident of a win, I'll go 3-1 Saints. How many do you think you will bring down ?

Saints 1-2 Leicester. No real reason for my prediction, but it would just be typical of us to lose to a team performing well below par.

Nugent is an absolute tw*t. I'm not just saying that because he's an ex skate either, his language and overall attitude on twitter is disgraceful - the exact reason why clubs should ban their squads from social networking sites. He's constantly arguing with fans (of all clubs) calling them every name under the sun. He seems to hate Portsmouth and their fans as well which is a bit weird considering they gave him his chance in the big time. Not a player I'd want anywhere near my club, cocky arrogant prick are the 3 words that come to mind when I think of him.

@nuge101235 if anyone wants to abuse him.

Anyway I think we'll win 3-1.. Guly, De Ridder and either Lallana or Lee.
Beckford will come good soon enough, I think he'll score.

2nd half Kasper saved us big time. If it wasnt for performances like that from him on many occasion i think we would be looking over our shoulder.

Wonder who the ref will be - I think we can rule out D'Urso as he won't get out of Southampton alive!

Beckford will come good, he's quality but I don't think your style of play suits him, he excelled at Leeds because everything revolved around him and Snodgrass was the perfect provider.

How is Nugent a decent bloke? The way he celebrated against Pompey was terrible, unprofessional and ungrateful of him.

This is on TV isn't it? Is it my imagination or do we never play well when it's televised?

You slate him for abusing people then offer his twitter account name so that people can go abuse him?

    Two way street mate.

A month or so ago he scored a cracker at their place and didn't move an inch.

Then a couple of weeks ago he was jeered by the Pompey fans so he went crazy when he scored.

Part and parcel of being in the public eye though. Not everybody is going to bow down at your feet, of course you'll get some stick but do you see other footballers/celebrities biting at comments made about them? It just makes him look like an idiot. Peltier has the right idea - he responds to criticism but in a professional manor, with professional responses.

To be honest, if anybody responds badly then its Neil Danns who gets constant abuse from Palace and Rangers fans.

Your forwards worry me. Nugent is a live wire and Beckford's pace could cause us a problem or two. If we continue with confidence and not complacency, I think we may just edge it.

We're a lot better these days, although still far from perfect. Sheff Wed (1-0), Leeds (3-1), Reading (1-1), Blackpool (2-2), Pompey (1-1) are our most recent televised matches, and obviously there aren't any defeats in there.

Wasn't it 2-0 against Sheff Wed - Fonte and Lambert scored

As far as I am concerned I will welcome Nigel Pearson back to St Mary's as a manager that was good, very good for us! But that was yesterday and now we have SAINT NIGEL ADKINS who is GREAT yes GREAT, so it should be a good game, Saints 4-1

To be fair, we're quite good on SKY.

Beat Derby 4-0, 2-0 and 2-0, drew with Portsmouth 1-1 and we drew 0-0 away at Cardiff.

But we did lose at Birmingham with 10 men, 2-0.

Apart from the Portsmouth game we've played quite well and have been unlucky in those games.
