Right, before we start getting posts from other teams I'd like to hear 'wall fans thoughts. I went to the den today with the hope of seeing a battling Millwall performance, and that's exactly what I got. At 11 vs 11 we were the better team everyone looked sharp and we had several chances in the opening minutes, a set play from an suspicious foul saw us concede but we still put Brum under intense pressure. Then the first turning point, Lowry sent off after he was initially fouled, ref listening to linesman yet again. But we kept our heads up and battled away with a few chances to level before the interval. With Jimmy as a makeshift CB he looked sharp but out of place Jack smith looked good at LB one of the best players on the pitch today, Bouazza put a shift in and Feeney is a class apart. The ref was an absolute joke especially for the second red, it was a coming together and now we have two first teamers looking at 3 match bans. Dany N'Guessan was full of running and Harry Kane will come good holds the ball up well but looked greedy as he was eager to get a goal. In terms of how to change the team, we didn't look a bad side all we lack is goals with 10 men it was competitive but with 9 we couldn't do F*** all. I know the Millwall board and team alike look on these sites so if you're reading I commend your recent performances and if we continue to play like that results will come COYL. I fully stand by Kenny Jackett and the team and feel we are good enough to avoid relegation a striker is desperately needed, so who I think we could realistically get, Benik Afobe, Matt Tubbs, Jay Emmanuel Thomas anyone else have any ideas? Now as for the fans near me in the East Upper who decided to throw bottles and coins, you have disgraced us as a club, like you I was spitting bile at the referee and Linesman's poor decisions. But the only people who will suffer is the club, all that will now happen is we will get fines and that money could have gone to bring in a loan signing. Week in week out we complain about s*** refs but seriously this ref was watching a different game we drew very few blatant fouls and they were given soft ones time after time then were we had two sent off. The FA need to start assessing refs performance's and relegate those who consistently mis-read games. Lads my 2 cents are up RANT over.
Grant good thread all apart from i small part!! I know the Millwall board and team alike look on these sites are you really trying to convince us that Millwall players can read
Good article Grant don of the den, i always expect us to give 100% at the den but we need goals above anything else and with our lack of away wins + poor finishing , we aint going anywhere but down..simples ,oh and thanks to the crowd showing there disgust at the ref/ linesman, great passion but throwing objects on the pitch will cost us fines and harm the club ,use your brains twats !!.
you are right ,we were the better team even down to 10 men.dunne deserved the red but should have done the job right and broke the bastards leg.apart from having a **** defence and a striker n guessan who could not hit a cows backside with a banjo not bad .that is down to jackett.h kane not greedy once he gets 1 loads wil follow very unlucky not to have scored .has 2 good feet and as he has been playing in the same team as defoe and van der vart will surely come good for us.but we have to start winning away and barnsley away will not be easy draws are not enough at the moment our away form is a joke .a win at barnsley would set us up nicely for our next little friendly at the hamsters.
