This isn't a negative post, it was a great display today but don't get carried away. It's one game, lets see how it goes next 2 games before saying we're back on form again. Let's not get complacent today. My thoughts only.
When I said we were back on form I meant we were on form for the game today, I'm not getting carried away
I'm sure Nigel will take five positives and a negative, then draw a blue line. But I reserve the right to be happy.
Agreed, today never happened. I refuse to believe we're top of the league. Seriously though, if we can show the same sort of class against Leicester and Cardiff, with Lee coming into the team, Chappers coming back, Rickie coming back, and maybe another signing or two, then we can start to feel a bit more confident about our chances.
We definitely don't need any more signings up front now, or in midfield really. I'd take a centre-back and that'd be all.
Respect your opinion but honestly i disagree, I still think we need another winger. If DC can keep fit and form up then im happy with our striking options but i dont think we can continue playing with a CM on the wings.
Players capable of playing on the right: Lallana, De Ridder, Holmes, Guly, Chaplow, Reeves, Sinclair.
I thought Cork had a storming game on the right today, and don't forget he has played at right back before.
I don't get that really, surely we have enough? Unless maybe Adkins wants to Guly to remain in midfield.
I think Leicester are there for the taking - they are in nomansland going nowhere and accoriding to a few Leicester fans on 606 were dreadful today. I can guarantee that most Leicester fans will be thinking "f**k away to Southampton next"
I was wondering, if Cork was Cox of a rowing eight in the next Olympics, would they be known as Corkscrew?
It won't be in a few months. Spread the spending, bed the new players in, otherwise there will be quite a few required come August. Good as they are, there are several indivduals who won't be taking the bus the whole journey.
