Absolutely brilliant.

Both of my heroes score to keep us top.

Let us hope that Guly's hamstring is ok for the next game.

The extra couple of days may help him.

The only question now is where does Nigel play Lee?
 
Rotation is important at this stage in the season. It'll be good for some players like Connolly and Guly to be rested every so often and to see the likes of Lee, Holmes and De Ridder starting.
 
aha seriously though guly is one of the top scorers in the league, connelly has proven again he's a top quality player at this level, barnard hopefully comming back and the arival of Lee. Is 6mil+ on Hooper neccessary

barnard wont be back much before March earliest, when his court case turns up

Still that leaves four top strikers plus a few academy boys who are desperatate to prove themselves this isnt a reaction just to today I agree we needed a new striker this window I just presumed it would just be Lee, won't be complaining if we do get Hooper though just that its not a must in my book.
