Stoke have won a few games away from home recently which has maybe surprised most of us Potters fans considering the usual negative, hold on to what we start with, approach from TP. We had a good win at Everton but I don't think Pulis will expect anything from Anfield tomorrow. Liverpool clinically dispatched Newcastle recently and with Gerrard back are looking good again. We didn't turn up against Man City away and got duly punished. I hope at least we have a go tomorrow but I doubt it. A point would be an achievement, a victory nigh on impossible but we can hope I suppose. Realistically 2 - 0 to the reds.

Someone mentioned it on the Stoke messageboard the Oatcake earlier on as a few on there remember going to the game. I think they said it was early in Shankly's reign as well, not sure if that's true.
Sgt I WOULD have remembered it but although I've been going to stoke games since 61. I Missed it, I was only SIX in 59. In SIX months I will be 59. A nailed on win for us then Sgt. Weird innit.
1959!!! - the year I saw my first Stoke game as an 8 year old and I'll probably be 108 when Stoke next win at Anfield. So Stoke haven't won there since Adam was a lad...... (no not Charlie!!)
Don't worry NMS, he scored against Stoke at the Brit for Toon a couple of seasons ago so he'll probably do so this afternoon
I get much better streams using Sopcast and wiziwig: http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.php?part=sports&discipline=football But I'm going to watch it in a pub anyway- the craic's better than my place.
Nice one Saint - I can always rely on the old wise one I would be going to the pub but my 2 year old wont get served
Mark Bright's mouthing off on the radio about how disappointed he is in John Barnes having an opinion different to the wider medias, you can tell he hasn't read the report. How do these people get jobs??
