Still remember the time he got sparked out and his jaw broken I believe?.
All the Saints fans ran onto the pitch at full time it was madness.

Yep the Plymouth website are saying he has returned. My memory is that when he joined we were pretty much lacking in any kind of experienced player. He is a bit of a club ledge down there and actually scored loads of goals, so try telling them that all he can do is hoof it.

Anyone know where Stern John is these days, perhaps we could borrow him for the weekend, he always knew where the goal was and was prolific in the Championship.

To be honest Saints Fan4Life I think we successfully eliminated all our prolific goalscorers of the time in the season we were relegated from the Championship and left John and Rasiak in the reserves to avoid paying them a playing bonus. Just as well we found Guly and Lambert.

and Saganowski when he was on form! i know people slag Rasiak off, but he scored goals which is his job - just as well we found lambert mainly! and guly/barnard/connolly and the emergence of Lallana

Racking my brains...didn't take long. Who is the player that refused a Saints contract and made Nigel Adkins say,'I let a model professional like Wotton leave so as not to block the way for *******.'

Could it have been the Huddersfield escapee? With Paul Wotton you got what you saw. He was not quite Paul Scholes, but he gave everything each time he pulled on the shirt and for that I will always admire him.
