    Hopefully if it's a straight fight between us and Swansea for his signature, Crofts and Bennett (who I assume he knows) can convince him to come to us! If Lambert wants the guy, then I assume he'll be a great addition. Probably fits into the category of 'giving the lads a hand' quite nicely, he sounds like he'd be a squad player.

    Hate to dampen things, but Poyet has rubbished this rumour, which originated with TalkSport, so it was pretty untrustworthy from the beginning. That doesn't mean that City won't bid for him though!
