Against a non trying non fouling Motherwell team managed by an ex Hun , no thanks , the only time I've ever set foot inside Ibrox is when the famous Glasgow Celtic are there

A low bid at £500,000 may not be the end of the matter, What ever happened to the Ness boy? If he was around I think you could afford to sell edu and use the money on a winger or striker.

If this article is true, it makes you wonder how much control McCoist has over our transfer policy.

After the initial bid, McCoist is quoted as saying that not only did he not want to sell Edu, but he wants him to sign a contract extension.

However, according to the article, Rangers subsequently went back to Sochaux and encouraged them to make a 2nd offer.

Pretty sure if we had phoned them back we would have told them the price we wanted, the fact its been rejected proves that its a load of ****e i reckon.

He's come onto a game in recent weeks has yer black McCulloch.

At any other time, if you knew you could re-invest the money in players, I reckon you'd take a bid of £1m - he's 25, though, and a midfielder's prime is about 25 - 29 so he's just getting to the best bit of his career and that, in theory, should push the price up.

The money might not go back into the squad and you might be better off with the Devil you know <ok>

For what it's worth, when he's on his game, I think he gives you an effort aligned with composure you won't get from many other central midfielders. When he's gash, he can barely find a Rangers player with a pass.

Looking in, if you're not going to re-invest in another midfielder, I'd be happy to see him go - he's a player, like Broadfoot, that gets a hard time but I reckon he's better than he gets credit for.

broadfoot deserves all he gets. I've said from day 1 and have never changed my opinion. he is 100% ****e at football. I've said the same about Edu for a while aswell but since the 4-2 game against the IRA he's come on leaps and bounds. very much a confidence player.

I've always said hes only ever had one decent game and that is when he was skinning tattieheed, apart from that hes ****e like i said the other day I'd take a fiver for him.

boy hood rangers fans. hardly going to stay with killie are they?

what did we do to unsettle them anyway?

You mean apart from talking openly about signing them when they were still contracted to Killie and getting your mate (Keith Jackson) at the DR to print stories about how they were lifelong Rangers fans and "it's the only club they ever wanted to play for."

And then making Killie out to be the villians because they were stopping the player from signing for "their boyhood heroes."

Apart from that not much.
