I also remember a game for the commodore called 'pub quiz'. It was a text based adventure that i'm pretty sure was incomplete. If you went right you got run over. Left you walked into a door, forward you got electrocuted and backwards you'd see a tree. BUT if you went up the tree you couldn't get down, so you'd fall and die. Or if you ate an apple up there you'd be poisoned.

FFS! Still have Marble zone theme music stuck in my head from yesterday. Wqas breifly replaced this morning, but on seeing this thread.. grrrr
 
<laugh> I forgot about Ecco the Dolphin. I used to spend hours on that, never even had a clue what I was doing.

<laugh> Yeah it regularly creeps back into my head too, along with the image of lots of purple and those ****ing awful pink caterpillar things that always made sure they were around when you had no rings.

Oh yeah, and is it just me or does the Marble Zone music sound a **** load like this?:

when you jump on them wrong and all their spiky segments seperate and go bouncing off.

<laugh><laugh><laugh> I used to have a recurring nightmare as a kid which had that music playing at the end and I'd wake up right where Sonic would have drowned.

<yikes> that must of sucked. i remember when i was little i was never more scared than playing on sonic when that music came on
