According to star sport AOC wants a loan deal for 1st team football. We'd be stupid not to make an offer if it's true.
Much as I'd like it I can't see it happening. If Wenger was interested he'd have loaned him back at the time of the original transfer.
It would be as good as Blackpool getting Shelvey. Think about that. Also what if Blackpool loan Oxo instead of signing Puncheon. Noooooooooo
I wouldn't want to see him back here. He deserted us and could have been arguably running this league should he had stayed with us.
Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Twitter: "Just to confirm, any rumours about me wanting to leave are completely false, couldn't be happier at Arsenal."
I can't help but think that if Chamberlain was still with us we would be talking about who will be behind us as runner's up this year.
When we won 15 out of 16 games last season without him? Don't think so! Were well rid of him another money grabbing Walcott wannabe.
He would be a useful addition. All these people saying how disgraceful he is need to wake up. He is a young player who always put in a good shift for us and never criticised the club outright even with the transfer wrangling unlike a certain other want away player. It is natural he would want to go to a bigger club.
I wasn't being sarcastic in my earlier comment but he simply went there for money, not development. His first pay cheque at Arsenal bout him a brand new white Audi R8! He was 17 for gods sake!
Yeh but that's not how football works. When a prized possession moves on and in the way it all came about there are bound to be people upset with how he left.Admire you for not being angry at him but i am and at his Dad! i've said it before - if he left in a better, more respectful way i'd be less judgemental but he didn't and the piece in the national newspapers was so disrespectful to southampton f.c and it's fans that i find it hard to believe there are fans out there that still back him!
The guy is a typical leach will feed off a club that will pay his insane wage demands and won't be bothered if playing or not. If he wanted to play football he would stayed another year with us at least but he was happy to go off and sit on a bench occasionally whilst reaping in huge lots of dosh while scratching his ass. The bloke is a maggot.
my goodness there are some green eyes on here. He made a decision as a 17 year old with the help of his father that he thought was best fro him, either financially or footballing wise. It may still prove to be a good decision. if he was available on loan to help get us promoted, I would take him. It won't happen though.
