We need to remember that we have extremely rich backers and TF!

The transfer budget is rummoured to be around £20m, does anyone know if this is purely for fees or also includes wages? If its just for fees how would you spend it?
Myself:

Alex £2m
Sambam £8m
an attacking midfielder, possible someone like Hleb would be cheap and he's already used to the premier league
with the rest being used to fund a striker such as Defoe

Greetings fellow newbie, I'm so glad my first post didn't get that ummmm colourful response (actually it was virtually ignored by all as it was crap). Anyway agree with what you've said there re new players.
 
Welcome...I reckon one extra centre back is needed...and if signing only Alex would leave an extra 6 million to spend on a top notch striker I would go with that. Hleb would be good as well...but having just had a look at him on Wikipedia...seems he's rather prone to injury these days.

Don't let the above comments put you off...my first post on here was similar to yours a while ago...I made the same mistake and had similar responses...gotta at least give it to them, they're consistent...
