You want to get Spiderman, The Lion King and street fighter mate! hyyoooookkaaaaN!

Especially the Lion King - f*cking epic game lol

Not to mention the obvious Sonic the Hedgehog! do do dod do do dodododo dododo oddodoododododododoooo diddly diddly diddly (marble act lmao)

So have i...still in its original box in the loft :)

Mines set up in my games room with the rest of the consoles! Box is in perfect condition though and I have about 230 games in total (for that console -people kept giving me theirs when they upgraded or threw theirs away <ok>)

Total geek I know, but love the nostalgia. I tend only to play the PS3 really.

Jungle strike - ass helicopter game. There was a sequel called urban strike, that's class too.

James Pond 2 & 3 were hilarious!

Mega bomber man.

Prince of Persia

Road rash

Sonic

Zool

All class games!

Ps. I presume you have sonic 1,2,3 already.

And soviet strike, nuclear strike - they're all class.

God I wish I was at home, put one of those bad boys on now lol

I know someone who has never touched Sonic since an unfortunate accident many years ago.

He had an arguement with his business partner (they owned a pub together) and he opted to drown his anger with tequila and beer whilst trying to serve customers. His business partner dragged him away from the bar and bollocked him so he went upstairs to pack a bag and head off but lobbed a drawer from his wardobe out the window.

Now sozzelled he was sure he could do the 'Sonic spin', pick up the drawer and bounce back into the window.

3 months in traction later was the next time I saw him.

Never played a computer game since.

Desert Strike was good too, but frustrating.

How times have changed! <laugh>

Ah yeah! think that was the best one, if my memory serves me rightly.

You're all Barstewards, can't wait to get home now, do a million billion things I can't be bothered to do then get to sit and play for a bit! lol

Anyone remember this?: (shame about the idiot talking over it)

Brilliant! I remember on FIFA 97 I could only score goals from the right wing.

All this talk is making me want to get the old Mega Drive out of the cupboard again.

Some of my other favourites.

Anybody else get as outraged playing Ecco the Dolphin as I did? I remember seeing it in the shop thinking "Wow this is gonna be great, swimming all over the place, having some laughs with my dolphin buddies" only to discover it was pretty much the hardest and possibly most terrifying 'childrens' game ever invented.
I'd spend hours screaming at the **** to stop getting dragged back onto the spikes by those fans or whatever they were. I think my gamepad took some damage from that.

I recently read that they apprently they had to tone down how hard and scary it was after the first draft <laugh>.

<laugh> One of the worst games ever.

I had some great games, and some utterly appalling ones. You couldn't pause Mortal Kombat on the Sega because the start button was block <laugh>.

Another classic.

What about Mick & Mack: Global Gladiators? You had to shoot slime monsters with bubble gum, but that was bullshit - the best thing about this game was a hidden bonus level in the options screen which is insanely addictive: There was 3 bins in front of your little character and you had to throw falling litter into the correct recycle bin while avoiding falling anvils. If that was released as an iPhone app or something now, it would make a fortune.

Is this not already a business idea? If it isn't it should be... Remaking old console games for mobile devices! It's a license to print money.

Yeah I'm stunned SEGA haven't caught onto this and started buying licenses from the creators of their best selling games from back then. Do you use an emulator for the old sega games? I've got one on this laptop which is pretty great.

I had an emulator on my PC but a virus ****ed it. I'm considering just getting the Sega down out the loft when I get home from Preston tomorrow. I've got the Menacer too! :D
