'OK, you know your player better than I do' - and you know your players better than I do.

However Maynard is pacy and has a touch of class that would do well alongside either Holt or Morrison. Should he join Norwich I'm sure you will say 'Maynard is a lot better than I thought'.

Always liked Norwich - you gave us Paul Cheesley.

Paul Lambert has always brought the best out in players and if he could do it with maynard then i think we would have one heck of a striker BUT this is a no goer. Just nonsense made up by the press!

goldeneye, have you ever watched maynard play? you are vastly underestimating his talent. as with all players outside the top flight, especially strikers, they might be a flop but they might be huge hit - everyone is different but maynard has a better chance of being a hit than most. he is totally different to morison and holt and THAT is EXACTLY why we are trying to sign him if that is indeed the case.

    options <ok>

That's not a problem, we don't tend to score many goals from headers anyway ;)

basicallys hes fast but he's not known for it like your walcotts or lennons, van persie's pacy but you wouldn't use that as one of his strong points a bit like maynards

No. He's pacy, promise. And he can head the ball. Dribble. Do tricks. Bakes a lovely cake. Eloquent. Likes long walks on the beach.

Just take him is the main point I'm trying to get across.

This one is about right, we create NOTHING at all for Nicky causing him to score the spectacular goals cos he has to do it all himself.

There are many clubs that are interested in Nicky that I wouldn't want to see him go to because he would struggle but having watched Norwich's style of play over the years, if he didn't score 20 goals for you a season, I would eat my hat (and I don't like the taste of hats)....

Comon let's be having you all.

Maynard is not pacey, quick over 20 yards and then runs out of puff in my opinion.
