If there bigger duds than Pulis and Forecast I cannot remember. What a waste of money.

Just found this youtube compilation for Ryan Smith 'The English Denilson':

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAJZKAnwpYw

I don't think there's one worthy highlight of him in the whole video

Idiakez was another flop. Also who was that Danish right-back - Nilsson?

Ever since we got rid of him, I've refused to say his name. The worst player that I've ever see in a Saints shirt, and his performance against Wolves was simply beyond inept. He just didn't try - there was one instance where the ball was no more than three yards away from him, and he just stood there.

As for Idiakez, he certainly was a flop, but I like him these days because he's always looking out for us on Twitter, and wishing us luck and congratulating us etc.

I think, with respect, Idiakez's poor performances were a fitness/injury problem. Rather than Ryan Smith who was just terrible in every aspect.

As a side note when I called him the next Arjen Robben earlier I was mistaken - it was Holmes who was labelled the next Arjen Robben.

Was Otsemobor the guy who let Millwall equalise a minute after we had scored at The Den?

Giving Forte a longish contract was a mistake. Adkins thought he could do a job for us, but I think we've moved on and he has had few opportunities. He is still a legend for the MK Dons match though..that game turned our season round and prevented us having to win the play-offs.

I thought he was a top keeper. So good in fact that I'm certain he kept Niemi on the bench for a fair few games.

He was originally yes, but Smith did so well in his absence that Niemi had to sit on the bench for a while and be patient. Smith had a blinder against Arsenal in one game as I recall (possibly the 'Prutton' game).

Just imagine a team hat had those all in it. Wouldn't even give the kids team we had under the Dutch a game.
