Just found this on the net, cant see it somehow but I fukin hope not.

Mark Hughes first act as new QPR manager will be to try and convince Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez join him in west-London.

The sensational deal could cost financially bulky QPR over £25m.

Hughes is rumoured to be unveiled later this week as the new QPR manager following chairman Tony Fernandes’ decision to sack Neil Warnock.

One of the key reasons behind the dismissal was Warnock’s failure to attract or identify the required players needed, which according to Fernandes would keep QPR in the division. The Air Asia owner and his wealthy board members are planning to give their new man a reported £30m transfer chest in order to save the club from dropping straight back into the Championship. And Hughes is allegedly confident of securing the services of the disgraced Manchester City star, who famously refused to play for the club against Bayern Munich earlier this season.

Tevez has been rather open regarding his unhappiness at the club ever since he handed the club a written transfer request last season, which was rejected. He has allegedly been fined over £1.4m in the last year and hasn’t featured for the clubs since that incredible incident in Munich.

Him and Hughes, who formed a strong working relationship at Manchester City when Hughes was manager, have kept in contact over the past year and have the same advisor in Kia Joorabchian, who is also a business associate of Fernandes. The four men have already spoke regarding a potential move for the player that is likely to cost QPR £25m in transfer fees and over £10m in wages per season. Whether or not the player will be keen to join a club at the wrong end of the table is another matter, but Fernandes is apparently not afraid of splashing the cash on a player whose ability alone should guarantee Premier League survival.

I order you to wipe the spat coffee off of my screen and keyboard NOW!

As I said on the QPR page, more chance of him turning out for the New York Rangers. He aint sank that low yet.

Mark Hughes on the other hand.....

Just when you thought he couldn't possibly step down after Fulham....

hahahaha, if tevez hadn't come out and said he don't want to play in england ever again then it could well be believable

I don't see why this is such a laughable suggestion, to be honest with you all.

With the Italians seemingly unwilling or unable to afford to buy him outright, and with his continued absence from training proving to be highly embarrassing for £ity, a half-season loan move to QPR could be the ideal holding-solution, pending his sale abroad, in the Summer. Let's face it, QPR are hardly going to be challenging £ity for the title are they.

On the other, they could well end up ruing the day they loaned Adebayor to us, but that's another story <ok>

City have stated on several occassions they do not want to loan him, they want to sell him.

You and I know that, Drogs, but no one seems keen on buying him just yet.

True, I would bet my house on him NOT going to QPR though . Can't even see him leaving this month to be honest.

You may well be right, and the odds are probably on your side. But it's not so beyond the plausible as to be worth ridicule. That's all I'm saying.

They are relegation fodder <ok>

Then again, it has been proven Tevez is a money grabbing little rogue

Not a bad shout if they sweeten the deal enough and it is only for the rest of the season. QPR are hardly a threat to Citeh and he could help them nick points off Citeh's rivals in a similar way that the charity man, Adebarndoor is already doing with the spuds.
