Danny Pugh has now cemented his position at left back. We had the great debate about Danny Collins or Higgy . Out of these lads who is your prefered choice . I like Danny Pugh a great Pro who has been patient but felt he looked shaky on Monday and i think Higgy with his expeience would be better for the Quarter final . We have seen Huth at right back,Wilko,Shotton and now Wilson on the right back i would go for wilko who does get forward at every opportunity.
Wilson for right back, for now, but he should be in our central midfield in the long term, so a right back, and a left is a priority in the summer surely. Whether Pulis sees it that way I don't know.

Clearly for me it should be Higginbotham and Wilkinson at right back whith some MAJOR investment in these positions in the summer. I don't know why Danny Collins is still being touted for the left back spot, he'll be the first to tell anyone that he is far from a left back, the lad is a centre half and does a decent job there in the matches he has played there for us. In my opinion Collinsinho is back-up for Huthy and Shawcross.
He is indeed, would be surprised if Pulis ever played Danny Collins in the middle of the park though. For Brazil He Should Play Danny Collins!

He he good stuffio guys. Back to plan A for me for the next few games, Wilko and Higgy at the back, Wilson and Whitehead in midfield, Fuller and Carew starting up front. Delapidator on the bench to launch a few missiles in the last 15 mins. Need to see more than just 10 mins of Ric so we can see what he is about. Need a few wonder goals from him really.
Struggled to understand why Wilkinson has not been first choice. Slightly hot headed diving in and distribution can be dodgy but works hard, defends well and I personally think way better than anyone else in the position
EVERY POST! Ha! No, I can understand why you don't like him, I think he's pretty damn good to be honest, however he is always looking for it in the box.
I'd give Pugh a bit more time to prove himself. He's been out of the team for a long time, and we can't judge him on a game or two.
