Not sure if we've signed him yet but from what I heard earlier Rangers are apparently interested In better news both Leeds and Bristol City are interested in Broadfoot
I hear 'Masterchef - The Professionals' are interested in poaching him. please log in to view this image
I didn't hear it myself but my mate told me the guys on Clyde 1 were saying Rangers have made their interest known. Not that I really want either but if it's a choice between O'Connor or Sandaza I think I'd rather have O'Connor. Sandaza has only really had one good season, O'Connor has never been prolific himself but I think he'd be a better option
I actually thought Sandaza done alright with Dundee in the same way i always liked Aluko (after the Aberdeen v Bayern game) I'd probably take Sandaza over O'Connor to be honest, at least Sandazas scoring just now and for some **** team from a ****ing ****e town.
Either way it's a sad day that these 2 are being named as our main transfer targets. If we're really looking to sign SPL players then I'd prefer us to go for guys like Murphy at Motherwell or Templeton at Hearts, up and coming guys who we could sell on in a few years I've just found this - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...o-Sandaza-swoop-sooner.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Looks like Sandaza could be our man, for £300k it could turn out to be good business but it's still disappointing Rangers are needing to go down this route
I totally agree sad day when we are buying players that have done nothing but stagnate in the SPL all their careers but i suppose the money situation needs to be resolved first, shame its ****ing not gonna be decided until late this month Hopefully we can just get the deal over and done with if its gonna happen, can't be ****ed with this on-off **** and hopefully Geoff Brown stays out of it instead of his usual acting like an arsehole (quite possibly one of the snobbiest ****s I've met here)
Interesting read: http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport...g-jelavic-as-mccoist-targets-sandaza.16398300 Especially the comments by Jelavic.
I wouldn't read into Jelavic's comments too much. Every journalist asks loaded questions. However, it's obvious that he has used Rangers as a stepping stone to bigger things, and I don't have a problem with that in the slightest. If Rangers can make a good profit off him (which they will) then it's all good. For Rangers, I think it would be in their best interests to keep him til the summer and promise him that he can go then. He will still have 2 years on his contract so the bids in the summer compared to now should be on the same level, unless he has a great 2nd half of the season. If he does that then the bigger teams will be sniffing around more and the money should go up.
The manner that Jelavic left his last club showed us how he'll react when a bigger club shows some serious interest. I've never been under any illusions on that front.
Gary O'Connor? Have Rangers ever had a player with the Irishy "O'" prefix to his surname? Serious question.
This used to be a pub quiz type question - apparently, they had a player called O'Hara in the seventies that next to nobody remembers. It will be fun seeing people at the side of the road during orange walks with O'Connor on the back of their strip.
