Chris Foy to the rescue!
It's a good article with valid points.
United were lucky to beat City today - 3-0 up against 10 men and a final score of 3-2?
Can imagine previous United sides under Ferguson letting it slip that badly?
Fact is the current United side is in transition, with a lot second rate players in the side.
In the past United would have sorted the problem by buying in quality, but now they cannot compete with the likes of Chelski and City... perhaps even Spurs and 'Pool.
I predict a long slow decline for United.
UTD have been in decline for years, thats why we keep winning, so back to the Chav board for you
The fact that you are celebrating this disgrace makes me laugh.
I mean, listen to you:
"UTD have been in decline for years, thats why we keep winning"
You sound like a Liverpool fan from 1995! LOL

have you seen the table. Cant compete with Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool
Yeah, being happy with a victory over your rivals. Oh the humanity!

We've been in decline a while now. since the late 1990s. Not gone too badly.
Yes we got nervy after they scored their first and made in more difficult than in needed to be, but your looking too deep into it.
I meant you can't compete FINANCIALLY with City, Chelsea... or even Spurs/Liverpool. You used to be able to buy anyone you like. Not anymore.
And you've missed the point I made complete - at no point have I said that you were in decline in the 90's, on even the early part of this century - quite the opposite.
What I am suggesting is that the inevitable decline has started and will continue. Lots of evidence to suggest that.
Like the £50M+ spent in the summer, yes we cant compete, we shall all have to become city fans now, as they have all the money (no FA Cup) but all the money.
You cant wum, you fail, go back to Chavsville will you
I predict a long slow decline for United.

long slow decline...over many years, I would not live to see it then...![]()
It'll be the same type of decline as Liverpool had. Sure, you''ll still be in with a shout for the domestic cups, maybe even the Europa League... but the PL and EC? Probably not in your lifetime![]()
