Just watched it on Player. The man is simply legend! Can't fail to be enthused when you listen to him. Always thanks fans. Brilliant!

Gather he told a few truths at half time and they came out better in the second half. Has more impact than someone who yells all the time. Perhaps he should do the half-time talk before the match<laugh> Love the guy.

Whenever I get doubts about the team (not very often) I listen to Nige and you just get the sense that it will work out, he's always positive always keeps his head and he keeps to what he says about not getting to high and too low. What a legend!

In contrast to Adkins - now to the opposite end of the spectrum to motivating your fans and players:

....Coventry boss Andy Thorn felt his players needed to show more mental strength to win their aerial battles in the box.

"We need men, we don't need shrinking violets," he said.

"We were not as manly as we could have been."

"Both were soft goals to concede. My son, Jack, is ten years old and he could have scored both of them."

We are certainly very lucky with our Manager. :emoticon-0100-smile

Adkins wasn't happy with Lallana not staying out wide as instructed, but he paid him a compliment at the same time...He kept drifting in because he always wants to be involved and help out. His words may have been stronger behind the dressing room door, but that's how it should be.

Tbh can't have a go at the Coventry manager, he looked so down when gettin interviewed. He looked like he had got some really bad news or he was just fed up with Coventrys troubles or both !.
