He's done a solid job, just hope the Pie Man doesn't let him down over the Summer. If he gets the cash and Graham Carr continues the great work hes been doing and finds us another Tiote or 2 I think we'll have a shot at Europe next year. As long as we don't have our best players sold.

I agree completely and Mike has to show the financial backing to the man he's declared as his long term choice.

No money, no new players and several current players will begin to talk about moving away to a club and owner with ambition.
 
I was a little irritated by the fact that he was appointed but also realistic that we were hardly going to get mourinho, but thankfully he has done about his job gracefully without other managers attitudes of my way or the highway bit like kinnear...(still stuns me that he even managed our club), hes a pro and may not have been everyo9ne choice but hats off doing his best with what hes got and if he manages for ashley to part with siome cash in the summer it will be another masterstroke.
