Really admire adeyemi. Top grades at a level, in some hard subjects, and a talented cricketer and football. Could have become a professional in either sport.

Never really seen much of adeyemi tbh but big games like that can help a players experiance. Lambert must rate him to have kept him. Heard he has a shot at wembley with oldham in the paint trophy too! Lets hope he dvelops into a great city star in the future!

I wonder what the ratio is of players who get loaned out "to gain valuable experience" who go on to make it with the parent club. Chrissy Martin may yet fully make it but I do have my doubts now. I'm sure Korey must be thinking about his future considering how young our midfield is. Will he be the next to go out on loan.

oldham 1-0 up. well, for two minutes anyway.

Good to see Bellamy doing well again, though its a worrying state of affairs for Liverpool when he's the go to guy over all the newly bought 'riches' they have.

edit- another chance but lacked composure to get it down enough. Seems to be getting in the right places tho.

Some disgusting Scousers has given some bad abuse to Adeyemi. He did not look happy. They'll be looking into this

what with the current 'awareness' of racism in the game, and liverpool's recent issues, i'd expect this to get quite a few column inches.

Not sure what is coming to the game. 'role' models like Suarez uses racist language and suddenly Liverpool fans think its ok.

I'm already cringing thinking about the racism that will be present at the Euros this year.

at least in england its a bit more publicly unacceptable, even though privately many people/players seem to have racist attitudes. Always shocked by how institutionalised racism is in Spanish football, with the likes of Ultra Sur.

    From the BBC match report:
"Liverpool closed out the contest with relative ease, but the final few minutes were marred by a verbal insult seemingly aimed at Adeyemi by a Liverpool spectator - which ended with the 21-year-old midfielder breaking down in tears."

I'm reserving judgment right now pending properly checking and verifying what was chanted and what happened but if this did occur then it's absolutely disgraceful. I feel so bad for the lad whos so incredibly talented.

When a player breaks down in tears over racism how can sepp blatter say there's no racism. There's been too many high profile events and of this is true then big action should be taken.

Amazing to watch the liverpool fans on there not606 board

As the evidence piles up, the damage control comes out, but i've never seen anything like a liverpool fan posting a picture of a woman with an octopus up her arse so the thread is pulled for indecency

I mean, I don't know if thats insanity or just plain cowardise. Hope they get nailed for what they did to tom

just read through that thread. what. the. hell.

Is this a not606 thing? when a thread gets out of hand is it someones job to solemnly enact the great Japanese tradition of tentacle erotica? Really surreal reading...

Never seen this tactic employed on here before. Never really been over to the Liverpool forum though so maybe it's a scouse thing.

Liverpool fans never cease to amaze me! With all the current headlines about racism they racially abuse a 20 year old player from a team two leagues lower than them. I hope the FA comes down on them like a ton of bricks!

I got banned from the Liverpool board as well, and I thought I was quite restrained. The "damage control" comment obviously sent them I've the edge

I will wear my BANNED FROM THE LIVERPOOL THREAD badge with pride, Liverpool mods are proper cowards!
