And Yeah It's 5 series - but once you've finished watch this HBO mini series called 'The Corner' made by the same writers etc. here's a link to see the reviews

It's also an excellent series with many of the same actors in it - although strange because some of the cops in The Wire play junkies in The Corner - and vise versa!
