Rhodes is better off coming to us - he will no way play at Tottenham, will probably warm the bench at West Ham, but here I'm sure he would be a starter where he can also play in the Prem
With Lee Clark in charge, heart ache will be the cards for them either way. I remember laughing at them last season, when Clark kept on leaving Rhodes on the bench in favour of that useless, but pacey, Afobe (and even though Rhodes wasn't banging them in like he is now, he was still their top-scorer). Could never understand how the Huddersfield fans defended him for doing it each week though.
Promotion for us is far from certain, so I wouldn't quite use those words. And besides, he would walk into many Premiership XIs right now. Even a club as big as Liverpool are crying out for someone who can stick the ball in the net. The Wigan's and the Bolton's and QPR's will certainly look at him as someone to keep them up. The Sunderland's and the Everton's and the Newcastle's will surely look at him as somone to grow with them, and take them to the next level.
If he goes go to the Premiership, as he surely will, then I wouldn't mind him going to Newcastle - as it would hopefully lead to the words "Premiership striker" no longer being mentioned in the same sentance as Leon Best.
