Why is Pearson only on a deal until the end of the season? Is that a contractual issue, and if so, to whose benefit? Does that mean he has joined us on a low weekly wage and then hopes to negotiate a better one in the Summer. Or are we just hedging our bets. I would have thought he was worth a longer deal. Or perhaps he just doesn't want to be stuck with us if we get relegated.
i expect its us being cautious, as derby fans have stated hes injury prone, plus we have a big squad and if players need to be cut we havent got to worry about pearson

Supposedly he is very fast and can play in a few positions started as a winger but has lately been playing left and right back so i have been told.
lwb/rwb so hes more attacking than defensive, could be a problem with where we are if he gets caught out to much
