There are times when Marquis plays and he looks like he is developing and making progress, then there are times when he looks out of his depth. I personally think a loan to a lower league for 3-6 months would help. He would be playing every week, building experience and confidence and he needs to beef up sometimes. Playing lower league you need strength as you're getting the **** kicked out of you for 90 minutes. I couldnt understand why he let Harris go in the first place. He is Millwall through and through. Little cameos with 20 mins to go was what he thrived on last season. He won us free-kicks in dangerous places, he knew how to run down the clock when we were winning (no use to us this season, mind). He got the crowd and the team going, insisted on 100% from everyone in a lions shirt on the pitch, and he led by example.
Mighty, lets hope the guys show some passion, (which has been missing) If anything the result could be a blessing,If KJ was sitting on the fence hoping to make do he now doesn't have much choice. If he wants to get away from the relegation battle he has to buy ! If he chooses not to... well lets not go there PS. Best wishes in advance to agent Townsend
Mighty, if Millwall go down please promise me one thing, just this one thing................... Take Ipswich down with you please
