Any chance he'll be in situ by the weekend?

Sorry, someone had to say it...

A pleasure watching Swansea this season - the whole team looks like it's enjoying itself. <ok>

I can't wait to see this guy play. He's going to be chomping at the bit and pretty well indoctrinated in our system, and I've great hopes for him. Welcome to Swansea, Darnel!

As a drummer, the "Ba-dum-TSH!" that went off in my head was exceptional! Well done sir.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll never forget our opening day Championship loss at your place when Hudson scored in front of us in the 2nd minute! Gutted, but still a nice day out in a nice ground.

Thanks Scottswan - I took my Dad to that game, first time he'd been to The Valley since 1954! I know he wasn't fully fit, but if Jason Scotland had come on 20 minutes earlier, I think there would have been a different result - absolutely dynamic player IMO.

Always remember Martinez, soaked in the pouring rain, in his really smooth suit, looking as cool as you-know-what. Should have stayed in Wales a while longer...

Hah yeah, in fairness I think he was still injured at that point! The guy was class though in my opinion, and in a team playing football like we do he'll always score goals. Anyone who can turn on a sixpence and hammer the ball at the bottom corner with both feet is always going to be a danger even when his legs are gone!

To be honest Martinez couldn't organise a defence and it still shows at Wigan. Sousa, and more recently Rodgers, organised the defence and since then we haven't looked back. Martinez does deserve credit for starting the real "pass and move" ethic down here, but we're a very different beast now I think!

Agreed - I don't think Hudson would get that much room now, or even get that far up the field...

Rogers is so impressive, quiet and purposeful, no hype just a fierce determination and a belief in what he's doing and the players he's got doing it. That first interview after his Dad passed away - incredibly moving.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your season, we're certainly enjoying ours. <ok>

    Only 4 months late <laugh>

well done SCFC looks like they finally worked out how to use a fax machine and communicate with the rest of europe! strange how we had problems with oversea signings but cardiff never seemed to have the same problems as us.

Glad its all done ,really looking forward to seeing him play, looks like Barnsley might be an option for him on saturday, welcome darnel :)

He hasn't played yet so we don't know. But that's maybe in Rodgers' mind.

Cardiff were probably early enough to avoid using the fax machine at 23:59 on 31 August.
