It depends whether we think we can get by with just McAllister and Richards until he's back - I think Wildig's loan expires soon. I know Turner wants to re-sign Wallace on loan, and personally I think if we extend all three loanees' deals, a left winger, a replacement for Lionel if he goes and possibly a goalscorer (whilst loaning out Bradders) are the only signings we need. Mark Marshall, as I've said before and will say again, is a perfect replacement for Ainsworth, and it's possible that Leslie will fill the role on the left and cover in the middle 'til Wroe's back, so that just leaves the striker. Maybe loan a little-known striker from a Premiership club? Of course, Ainsworth may well stay, and Leslie may well go, but I'll trust GT's judgement on that. I also saw on Blue and Amber that Dave Davis has returned to Wolves from Scotland and is looking for a loan deal - could be worth a punt for a month?
Gills fan in peace. What's happened to Nicky Wroe will he miss the game against the Gills at your place next week?
He broke/didn't break now but injured his 2nd and 3rd metatarsals against Bradford, and is likely to be out for another 3 weeks, so yes he will.
Pfft, the way he's playing, I'd be happy to see him dropped! Apparently he was on Facebook at 1:30AM before the Northampton game - that is really poor.
Yes, he is still a good player but was poor against Northampton and has really struggled for goals for a while, 2 goals in the last three months or something like that. He is a handful for defences on his day, but can't finish for toffee and doesn't win too many headers for a big man. I'd like to see Gornell and Collins given a run out up front together, or at least Morgan and Collins - Morgan and Gornell just doesn't work as a partnership as they don't really complement each other and neither are prolific.
sadly our marv has been resting rested, but will be mighty restive against the gills. our marv, he shimmies, he shuffles , he nutmegs, knowing the gills he will do all 3 will our marv!
I think it was pre season before the Shrews had him, when I thought we might go in for him. Then seeing him at our place, he did not disappoint. We still have not really resolved our probs up front since your visit for various reasons.
