He's 24 and a current Belgian International with 36 caps and 5 goals - for Fulham he's made 40 appearances and scored 4 goals. This term, he's been an ever-present for Fulham but only has a solitary PL goal. He scored 3 in 20 apps last season for the Cottagers...
He's not a Brit, so £8-9mil might be enough to prise him away...

I think he would fit in better than De Jong at the moment. If De Jong came in now he would have to be bled into the first 11 to mature in the PL, Sow could fit in straight away with his experience imo.
Edit: For a more instantaneous result this would be more suitable to our goal scoring problems.

Who else is there that we can target? We have Carroll for the future and other than him we don't have anyone else to spearhead the attack and provide us goals now. If we got Bent and he provided us with 10+ goals for the rest of the season and we reached top 4 then I wouldn't complain about spending £24m on a 28 year old. But if he didn't provide the goals then that is a lot of money wasted what could have gone on a very good foreigner.
I think Sow could be excellent or a few mil more for podolski. I feel that De Jong story has legs though so doubt we will see there two and Podolski could walk into CL footy wtih Arsenal and mertesacker.
I bought Sow in FIFA and I rate him in real life, think he adds loads for us other than just scoring goals, pace, power, etc. Like Eto'o I think more than a Drogba.
