He's scored 15 goals in a team that create chances regularly. Our style would've maybe suited him a little but I don't think he would've been banging them in like he has for Newcastle. Being a striker at a club with a style like ours in the Premier League means the most you can hope for is 13-15 a season. I don't think Ba would've had any more at this stage of the season than Crouch currently has, if he signed for Stoke.

Stoke pay there Medical staff mega bux for a reason !
Remember also this would also be an insurance thing too .....

I dont see it that way myself, The manager must have the final say on players - otherwise he would not managing his squad. I understand that a medical advisory or failure may cause problems around fees, insurance, wages etc.... but it does not by defination make the deal void. Fuller, Woodgate, Uposn were all signed by TP with known medical issues and it was confimed that we had 2 significant bids for carlton Cole turned down (one around 12 million and one around 6 million) and it was well documented that his medical issues were far from good - aka Bad Knees! Why woudl TP go after a player and sign other players that would be dubious in a medical - I am not sure what the difference is personally?

Me neither Smithers, don't forget to add Palacios to the list, and we were purported to have been after Hargreaves at one stage!!

Be OK for the club dance, have a right old knees up

I take your point and have to agree and said by someone previoulsy, some players are excellent and then may or may not perform for the following club - normally after a big money deal!

The only thing I will say is that I dont know whether it is good or bad that we think he would not have score so many goals for us as he has for Newcastle?
