look at the top of the page, it says comment, debate, create freely. as long as JH sticks to tongue in cheek stuff, it shouldnt be deleted. he's perfectly within his rights to question why he's been banned if other swansea board members do the same on this board..
I'm not sure John is banned, just not wanted further West so deleted on a regular basis... yet not left alone on CCFC board?... The majority of this about JH is just regurgitated stuff anyway. "but he said this" "but he said that" etc...FFS...so what? If its that big a deal, put a stop to it once and for all and PM Syd and get him banned... I doubt JH would care that much tbh but don't expect his little cult following to have as free a reign with their posts on JH's threads on CCFC... I admit that sounds a little juvenile but it seems thats the level we're at. Recently, I don't find anything he says overly offensive, just t-i-c banter so I agree he has every right to find out why. At the same time though, I agree with Cracker that the Swans mods can run their board how they want. The only time it would affect Bluebirds is if a cross board thread was started on SCFC board and Bluebirds comments were deleted because some people get a little too precious about stuff....but surely that would never happen, would it?
At the end of the day, if JH goes fishing and all the fish stay close to the river bank with their mouths open, can they complain and get his line cut?
Scottswan - not ignoring your question. Been out for a couple of hours since I made my only comment on this thread and just read your response. Are you seriously talking about the same thing that I was? This has nothing at all to do with JH and his wumming. If your fellow posters can't stand him and his forays onto your board, for Christ's sake do something about it yourself as a moderator, don't leave it to the Invisible Man. It was simply an observation regarding someone who had declared himself finished with not606, takes no active part in it, but is allowed to keep his moderator status to police others who have the absolute temerity to think they can post on the Swansea board. If anyone is sad on here, it's the one who has declared himself finished with the board, closely followed by you.
the old 606 had moderators that never posted really , what makes you think that moderators must be posters suddenly now ? Posting & moderating is apple & oranges . Sorry sussex , wanted to stay away from this one & will post no more . I miss a lot of old posters & i to wonder where the've gone .. Cheers !
Breezey - this isn't the BBC. That was supposed to be independent moderation from people with no particular allegiance. We are talking about a completely different forum with appointed moderators for each club.
To be fair Sparky , the club having it's own moderators doesn't deter from the fact that posting is optional for the moderator unless deemed differently within the clubs own board .
I completely agree with freedom of speech as i have stated many times....but could someone try to remember this thread was about missing forum users and not handbags at 10 paces
In the spirit of friendship I nominate bongo as third active moderator on the jax board.Always find him one of the most reasonable of a number of jax contributors. This will allow Jager to walk away.
Maybe you should nominate stuff on your own Championship board & if Swans have a problem they deem needing fixing on the Premier League board , please , allow them to fix it . This all stems from a good article , put on our board , by a good Cardiff poster & you've got us changing our moderator Lol !!
yea but when a decent post gets posted you get other forum members coming to stir things up when its not needed. like this thread. you all cant point the finger but if you got nothing good to say dont say it. theres banter and then some people like to have a decent debate.
I am, yes. Jager is moderator on the Swans forum. He asked to be removed, and was, after the sick Gary Speed threads. He then had mod status reinstated, why we don't know. It's up to him what he comments on, and no-one else has had a problem with this until now. John is the ONLY person who has had posts deleted, and I can tell you that they were all posts aimed purely at winding up people on the Swansea board, so why shouldn't they be deleted? Far from your accusation of me "letting a silent partner" actively moderate the forum, my "real" life means I'm not in the house a lot at the moment, and you'll forgive me for not being annoyed when, upon looking at the forum for the first time of the day and noticing Jager has deleted John's pathetic attempts at "fishing" or whatever term you care to use, my reaction isn't "Why, I ought to be doing this myself" Let's see. John lies consistently, gets caught out and spends a large portion of time ridiculing people based on the fact they were born in a different postcode... yet I'M the sad one? As I've said, we only have powers of moderation over threads on/primarily on the Swansea forum, and we can moderate them as we see fit. This'll be my last post in this thread. I came on to wish people well and hopefully find out where some members had disappeared to, and in correcting some information that was wrong and slightly slanderous it's all kicked off, and I've got much better things to do with my time.
