Quite agree. If he suggests that he wants to sue the a ref who makes a bad decision the authorities are hardly likely to give him ammunition by overturning the ref's decision in this case!! He just can't keep his mouth shut can he. A bit like Warnock really. I must admit that I quite like the bloke and agree with a lot of what he says such as refs being useless and big clubs and players get all the decisions given their way. As Poll said you can't send off good old Lamps can you. Unfortunately when Warnock goes into detail he opens his mouth before putting his brain in gear. Johnson went to ground - no he didn't!! Joey wouldn't have reacted that way - he already had against Arsenal!! Joey is targeted by refs because of his reputation - that is why other clubs have got rid of him so remind us Neil which numpty brought him to QPR? I really think that this time Barton and Warnock have talked themselves into a lot of trouble although the authorities will probably also have a go at Johnson over that stupid photograph.
What about this gem I have to agree with him that the SFA did take proper action, but to compare it to the incident at the weekend? He's lost it, plain and simple.
Can someone tell me what Johnson does after the incident? Does he appeal to the ref? Holt talks to the ref (don't know what about) and Bennett saw the incident appealing to the ref then tackled Barton.
Wasn't Barton involved in an incident when he was at Newcastle last season and he got an Arsenal player sent off who should not have been sent off? The words Kettle, pot and black spring to mind. As for acting lessons, he acts like an idiot anyway so doesn't need any lessons, and the only "Con" is Joey himself as he's spent time behind bars
This pretty much sums up Joey's next moves after the footy (apologies to Bradley) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lvU-DislkI&feature=player_embedded
Johnson doesn't even appeal, he keeps playing. Holt, like me, clearly assumed that the ref was going to yellow card Bennett for the tackle (which he probably should have done). Then the ref marches over to Barton for the red
I think Johnson's reaction is key to what happened. If he did cheat, and intended to he would be one of the first to complain to the ref.
