Not at all HIAG, just pointing out that you are claiming that 'The 'Pool delusion continues' and in this thread, there isn't any.
Why is that deluded? Liverpool went into tonight's game with a good 3-1 win against a solid Newcastle side under our belts and Steven Gerrard was coming back to match fitness. Liverpool also had the best defence in the league before tonight's game. On the other hand, Manchester City had conceded a last-minute goal up at Sunderland to lose that game and hadn't scored in over 3 and half hours of football. I can understand why Lawro went for a draw.
No Suarez (probably attending a KKK meeting), and reliant upon a donkey to find the net for you. Did you really expect anything other than the drubbing you got? We didn't.
0-0 wasn't too bad a bet because it was pretty obvious that the Mickey's wouldn't score with that donkey up front. Lawro knew he would get at least 50% of the score right.....
Chris - About our first 2 games, we were all over the place, I forgot to add that Modric was refusing to play in those first two games, in fact he didn't till after the window closed.
HIAG didn't you predict Manure to thrash us 4-0 at home? Also when someone says: Hardly a ****ing compliment is it? And let's be fair, City's bench wasn't its strongest with Johnson the only attacking player available. As a result they had all their best players starting on the pitch. We had little chance with our starting lineup. Constantly going on about delusion, should look up obsession.
Hm. The opinion of a grade C wum. Yes, I am sure that us Spurs fans will take what you say very seriously
That reminds me of what Roberto Duran said: "you might beat me in the ring but i'll kill anyone in a phonebox".
If you want to talk about delusion, here's Liverpool's statement regarding Suarez in a nutshell: Evra lied, we were put in front of a kangaroo court, Suarez isn't a racist, Evra used threatening words against him first, how dare the FA besmirch his reputation...but in order to combat racism in the Premier League, we will not appeal Suarez's ban. Can't the FA do everyone a favour and ban Liverpool FC from all competitions for eight games?
Mousers are easily the most deluded in football, fans.... players.... management.... their arrogance is vulgar and Suraez deserves his ban.
These days, I'm finding that I get almost as much pleasure observing the agonies of the Mickeys as they continue to fail as I do from watching the mighty Spurs juggernaut continue its ride up the table. Is that wrong?
Not really - they do ask for the derision they get, not least because they're possibly proclaiming past glories much louder now than they were when they were actually won.
