I would also like to know what will happen if John Terry is found NOT guilty of racially abusing Ferdinand? Will Ferdinand be charged with bringing the game into disrepute? Will he charged for wasting police time. Stirring up racial intolerance? What would QPR fans think of him?
Don't get me wrong. If Terry is guilty, then kick him out of football, certainly in this country. He's lived close to the wrong side of the law on more than one occasion.
Its just that in any argument, somebody is always very economical with the truth.
Barton said he was an alcoholic and thats why he beat a teenager into unconsciousness. And they believed him as he only served 11 weeks. Steven Gerard pleaded not guilty when he was caught on CCTV. Woodgate, Bowyer all pleaded not guilty and got away with it despite CCTV evidence to the contrary.
I don't think Barton "butted" Johnson. He isn't that brave. And maybe Bradders milked it. But Barton's intent was plain to see. He is being supported by QPR fans because, at the moment, he plays for them. I'm positive most of them wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire if he played for us.

erm, i think i'm right in saying that ferdinand wasn't the one to complain to the police. it was a fan. sorry, don't know the ins and outs so could be wrong

Sucker punch if I ever saw one. Don't expect this type of thing off professional sportsmen, On the early hours of New Years Day I saw one girl jump onto the other girl whilst standing and bit the other girls face until they both fell on the floor and went on until the cops broke it up, it was like the vampire from the film Let Me In! To be honest with you I've seen hundreds of scraps and twattish behaviour like the story above and Bartons assault is no different.
