I really hope Warnock decides to field a strong squad and stuff them 6-0 to provide some momentum going forward to our next away league game at Newcastle, which will no doubt be a tough one, followed by an absolutely must have 3 pts home to Wigan.

What and risk injuries to key players? - cant see the point of trying in the cup - we aint gonna win it so put the reserves out and see what happens - cant do any worse that the last f..k knows how many years!

I understand your reasoning, but I believe a good FA Cup win could provide a significant psychological boost to our first team squad, especially the strike force, and provide momentum going forward to the Newcastle game, for which we have an 8 day break to lick any wounds. I would certainly prefer not to see Rob Hulse leading our line in this game. Not that I necessarily want to see us do Pompey or Birmingham with their successful cup runs and ultimate relegations.

I think we will be beaten by MK Dons as NW will play a second string plus some new boys as this has become very low on his list of priorities IMO, and right now I don't give a toss about the FA cup!

Sod the cup, throw in the stiffs...

So Rob Hulse it is then, while the rest of the first team squad get a 13 day break before Newcastle to dwell on our current situation? Although my opinion is obviously against the current consensus here, this is not a good situation and I would rather see them strut their stuff on the pitch.

i think he should put a full first team out try a new tactic of playing down the wings and crossing to two forwards in the box. Also how about playing it out from the back rather than booting it up to no-one and losing it every time. last two games much better team performance but tactics and team set up wrong. Neil has to shoulder some blame here he needs to learn to change things. kick offs booted straight down the wing, throw ins always long down the line, keeper always booting it. Not good enough and our results have shown he has no plan B.

haha elnino did chuckle. We needed to win today for the points and didnt. we need to win on sat for morale and for the team spirit. Even today the team wasnt booed off the support is there and it needs to be shown. I think we had an allocation of 5k tickets

i doubt we'd win even if we fielded full strength! its not like us to win in the FA cup, or the league cup for that matter, although we're slightly better in that (rochdale beg to differ!)

**** the cup pts in the league pts pts pts

A win against anyone will improve confidence. Probably that is what we need most of all now, so I'm hoping we put out a strong team.
