Yakubu is an amazing player. It baffles me that none of the top 4 in the last 6 years haven't tried to sign Yakubu. The man is a beast, he's strong, has pace and he can score goals. Yakubu is proven in the premier league with 98 premier league goals. Chelsea or Manchester United should have signed Yakubu when he was in his prime.

He suits playing for lower clubs, just like Carroll does.

We seem to be getting a lot of cross board threads from the Chelsea side recently.

I'd take Yakubu over Torres at the moment.

Him and Samba are big bastards, but neither really has the class to play at the highest level.

They could both do better than Blackburn though.

Still aint fit to lick Torres' boots though, only strikers in the premiership i'd swap torres for would be rooney, persie and aguero

He definitely isn't fit to lick Torres' scoring boots. Unfortunately he seems to have left those boots in Liverpool...

Torres' main threat was his pace which got him into crucial positions, as a big bonus he had a great finish and strength too. With age, that gets worse and in hindsight it's easy to say but we should never have bough him, something I did say we we did buy him.
