you all hate Bates, most Grayson, if you were the manager and had sufficient funds who would you buy/sell?

Ironically, to get back some of the shape & pace that we had when we still had Gradel, Andros Townsend is exactly the type of player I'd sign. I personally think he'll be a great direct replacement, attacks with pace down the left & defends when he needs to.
As far as having money to spend, it's a bit too hyperthetical, but going on the basis of having a modest amount of money released, I'd go for Kilgallon, McCarthy & Lichaj (if fit) on permanents.
As for players to be let go, I'd drive O'Dear back to Celtic myself. Obviously the other deadwood like Paynter, AOB & Bruce would be allowed to leave, as would Forssel. I'd also have kept hold of Alexandre Mendy who'd be useful cover for Snodgrass.
Obviously I'm not breaking the bank, it's impossible to get into that mindset as Bates is going nowhere fast and no Leeds United manager would have millions to spend.
Finally, if there's not much to play for towards the end of the season I'd give a few games to Charlie Taylor and Monty Gimpel in readiness for next season.

I agree the signing of Townsend will give us some balance.

    A decent DM

    A decent CB and RB

    Sell Paynter,OB, Connolly and Bruce

    send back O'dea

Im not sure about getting rid of forssell, paying him wages to not even sit on the bench is pointless and to be honest i have only seen 10 minutes of him in a leeds shirt but he hasn't been given a proper chance. I just remember him scoring goal after goal when i was younger watching football. He has scored wherever he has been and for me is a natural goalscorer, something we dont have in any other striker at the club, maybe somma but he is injured and cant play (also a bit lazy)

hahaha, that kinda disproves my point slightly. I was doing it from memory to be fair hahaha.

I still remember him scoring a fair few. You gotta remember he was the one to relegate us from the prem. We lost 4-1 to birmingham and forssell hit a hat-trick (again from memory though)

He is composed infront of goal though and we havn't really seen him at all. Whats the point of paying a player's wages if he isn't going to play?

I still think he is a waste of a wage but the stage is now set for him to come on and score today

I dont mind having forsell in the squad and with keogh leaving may well get more of a look in. Let start with outs: O'dea, Bromby, Paynter, Connolly, Rachubka and despite him being a great player Mccarthy. I also wouldnt be against Becchio leaving if a good offer came in. Ins: rb (lichaj or similar) cb (killa or similar) cm (clighan or similar) st (who can play with Ross mc and get goals).

    Lonergan (Taylor and Cairns cover)
    White (Pugh and Parker cover)
Lees and new cb (Bruce and Kisnorbo cover)
New Rb (Lees and Thompson as cover)
Townsend (Pugh and White as cover)
Clayton/Howson and New Cm (Clayton/Howson, Brown, Vyranen as cover)
Snoddy (Sam and Nunez as cover)
Mccormack and new striker (Nunez and Forsell as cover)
