We would've needed teams already qualifying for Europe to win both FA cup and CC, but since Arse didn't win CC and Brummy got it instead, 7th aint gonna happen.
We need someone already qualifying for Europe now to win FA cup to make 6th place open to qualification.
So basically, need 6th place (or above, obviously)

Correct me if I'm wrong someone..

European places are gievn to 5th place, FA Cup and League Cup winners but often the winners are already in Europe so go to 6th and 7th place. We need 6th now because of Arsenal's failure.

No, it'll go to 6th. 6th and 7th place aren't Europe qualification places unless the FA cup and CC are both won by teams who have already qualified.
I think? Ha. Doubting myself now!

Unless, of course, Brummy sneak into the top 5. Then it'll go to 7th. But that's unlikely so nevermind

6th place may not be there either, say if Man United beat Reading in the FA Cup Final, Reading would get place in Europe!

Same situation we had in 1998 and 1999 when were runner-ups up to Arsenal and Man Utd. Also same as Milwall in 2004.

So in summary we need two of Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal compete the final for us to qualify for Europe in 6th because that is the only way 6th will come available! not only this but we have to finish 6th first!!!

The one simple thing we want Arse to do and they manage to feck it up. We beat them 2-0 grr. Wish I new how to do a hitler video got great material for one

if one of the english teams win the europa league will there not potentially be another spot up for grabs?

Not sure, it a good point. If City qualify for Europe through the league and win Europa League also, there could be a place offered to an English team i.e. the one in 6th or 7th (depending on the FA Cup Final)?

in that case does it mean that if Arsenal won the CC final Birmingham would have got 7th spot still aswell?

No the runner-up of the CC doesn't get the place like the FA Cup.
