I've had a better idea, Evra and Suarez have a game of Roulette if it lands on black then Suarez is guilty if it's red then Evra is a liar.

That's precisely what this panel did - except that wherever it landed Suarez was going to be found guilty.

I know it isn't. When I said 'on the balance of evidence' I meant what was presented to them generally - video footage, witness accounts etc. Sorry, I should have made it clear that I meant it this way.

By the way, it appears you have the impression I think Suarez is guilty. I don't, and I've said as much. I said the FA report makes it difficult to come down on either side of the dispute, being based on so many 'probables' as it is.

OK, <hug>

However, I firmly believe the report has been written to try to justify the FA's verdict, but they've shot themselves in the foot by illustrating how ridiculously interpretive the 'evidence' is. For here we are interpreting it! To suit our own feelings? Maybe, but they've made it so bloody easy!

If the case for the prosecution - Evra - had produced concrete evidence, overheard by a camera man, for instance, or by the referee, perhaps we could've held our hands up to this judgement, but he hasn't. The FA has deemed Suarez' evidence is unreliable. If so I maintain that Evra's is the same.

Yet there are others here saying oh for FFS tell Suarez to apologise he's making our club look tits. Well, like as not he'll be asked by the club to do so, anyway, if only to get the ban reduced. I believe Suarez might oblige, but then he might also do one in the summer because all this has been too much and we can thank those fans who decided he wasn't worth standing by.

"I kicked you... because you are black"
"I don't talk to blacks"

Black players in his team must feel really good today...

So good in fact, that they came out wearing "I support Luis Suarez" t-shirts whilst warming up.

What about those fat sumo suits? They could have a best of 3 rounds. The teams and managers could get involved, Kenny would take Fergie easy.

We could solve the Gerrard or Scholes debate once and for all.

Sorry to any Sumo wrestlers that I may be offending.

Oh yes! that proud episode in the club's history which had everyone associated with the club clapping and beaming with pride!!! Did they all know that he had said he did not speak to blacks???

Precisely. The hounding out of Suarez from England is the ultimate objective of all this United/Martin Luther Ferguson inspired witchhunt, as unwittingly confirmed by several Manure fans on this very post and other forums too. The flag of convenience of stamping out racism is as bogus as ferguson's conversion from standing four-square behind Schmeical when he was accused of calling Ian Wricht a 'Black bastard' with no substantive evidence, to him (and United fans and fellow travellers such as the Blueshite) now expecting us to roll ever and accept the same standard evidence to 'convict'our star player. If we do roll over Wishi is right - and I wouldn't blame Suarez even if he went to play for United, knowing that they will use any measure of deviousness and subterfuge to support their players and win-at-all-costs philosphy against all outside pressures. We would deserve it if no major player ever wanted to kick a ball for us again.

I don't remember anybody clapping or beaming with pride; don't tell me you're making things up to make LFC supporters look bad, I just can't believe you'd do that! Completely out of your character.

No, because nobody "knows," apart from Suarez.

Has KPR returned?

You do realise that this conspiracy theory you keep harping on about makes you sound as mad as a box of frogs and makes your posts more humerous than serious?

"makes your posts more humerous than serious?"

Are you trying to refer to a human bone or greek dip?

oh suarez! a pawn in a high stake game btw fifa and the english fa. now the fa is feeling so good for dealing with racists -what fifa could not do. i believe the fa had already pronounced suarez guilty even before the hearing. pity.
