He fell out with The Don, admitted it on twitter so has basically no chance of coming back. Unless The Don decides to show his soft side for the new year.
What is wrong with bart? he's had 1 bad game for us in the JPT he looked outstanding, i think kelvin is more error prone then bart, & also don't forget that bart has not played since the JPT and with no reserve team, he hasnt had any game time for a long long time, so its a bit harsh to judge him on 2 mistakes, and his loyalty he has shown is superb to this club
I agree with you about Bart...I hope he can play , and well for us again, but his confidence will have been shattered by the Blackpool game. As for Kelvin, his reaction saves between the sticks are spectacular, but his control of the 6 yard box and his distribution out of defence can be very questionable at times.
'I want to leave because I'm too good for this team and it's players, despite only having been at the club for 9 months'
This is from the man who made 11 appearances in the Blackpool side and saved them from relegat... Oh no, sorry.
I agree with this. Apart from his spell with Millwall what has he done? Set the world alight at QPR? Nope, sweet FA. Looking at Wikipedia he's not really been that great since he played for Barnet! Yet he's happy to come out on national TV and say he's looking for a big move to the championship or above! Jog on. I think the bridges are burnt though. If you look on the official site at the squad photos Puncheon is the last squad member listed, even after the academy kids, and has no photo. Doesn't seem like he's wanted!
He's done nothing at QPR because he's not been given a chance. And I'm not sure what how much relevance looking at his goal record on wikipedia has - last time I checked he was midfielder, not a striker. He impressed me at MK Dons. He impressed me with us. And by all accounts, he had succesfull times at Millwall and Blackpool. I'm not at all surprised that he wants Championship football, because he's good enough for Championship football.
Nicola has an even more inflated idea of the Saints than we do...he regards the club as an extension of himself. 'You insult da Saints; you insult me. You do not want to do that.'
No horses head yet as far as we know! I think this is down to Nigel. Nicola is a businessman and if Nigel thinks Puncheon can do a job and help get us up, I'm sure he'll be back.
So you're saying Nigel can overule The Don, doubt that very much tbh. Puncheon will be gone but I have a feeling just on loan again.
Not much of an interview, but the clips of the Goals were impressive. Most were outside or on the edge of the box. We don't seem to get them at the moment?
Tbh, if Puncheon is genuinely contrite, apologises to the club and the fans and NC/NA accept the apology, then I think he could do a job for the rest of the season. Maybe then, at the end of the season, he can move on if that's what he and the club want. He was a prat, but I guess we've all done prattish things at one time or another.
