Phil, Jenkins would have him back like a shot if Buck felt that Pratley could do a job for us. There's £40 million riding on us staying up so if the guy can offer us something, why not.....?

It doesn't look like he's settled at Bolton and if we can get him cheaply I think it could be good business. The guy's not a fool and might swallow his pride to become part of a set-up that holds good memories for him. And he can do a job that others in the squad are not equipped to do - different options and all that.

There's a possible psychological bounce off as well. With Leon having returned to us, should Darren do the same thing it would reinforce the message to the rest of the team that the grass isn't necessarily greener at another club.

No no no no no no no no and no......we should be lookign at getting better than Pratley in, even if it is on loan. Was bit part player last season and wouldnt add anything to our squad this season. As for using the "Britton came back" argument...i think today showed that we dont really need him in the team either, as he only goes backwards and sideways and today was the first game in a long time i saw us thinking "lets go forwards" instead of doing **** all with the ball!!!

Isn't this the truth. Absolutely night and day difference between yesterday and what we've been watching over the last month. Minor tweaks going forward .... Caulker for Monk, Agustien for Gower.

Rangel ... What an offensive threat he is at right back. And, yes, Dobbie - some might complain, but he did more than enough for me yesterday to start again.

Fair point there Ivor, seeing it that way, you could well be right, and it would indeed endorse the view that the grass is not always greener, interesting one that!............................<cheers>

One last point lads, our negative football is not down to Britton!..................

Its a no brainer getting pratley back IMO, good box to box player who knows the system and players gets goals from midfield and has been part of the swans family for 5yrs.

Trundle,Bessone,Britton why not pratts ?? the personal issue with Jenkins may put the block on it but as an option coming off the bench and getting the odd goal there wouldnt be that many out there in our price range.

goosens is the player to get obviusly but if not could do worse than pratts :)

Could look at the grass greener view, but could also give the message that it's ok to leave as you can always come back..... .....only my thoughts.... Pratts has gone, lets move on - Goosens for me too if possible... Just hope the youtube clips are not just a few one offs ;)
