The least we could have done was to return the favour, but we couldn't even put Kean in a bad position to do so. Ah well, there is always the return leg. I'm sure he will still be manager then.
thought he was just going to put it in the roof of the net - best goal line clearance i have seen in years
I agree it was a top class clearance. A Newcastle fan described it as being like a ninja clearing off the line. Skrtel the ninja
He's been at it all morning...earlier he said.. adampted = Adapted Something wrong with the 'M' button there B4F.

Forgot it's New Years eve. Happy Birthday B4F, the only day where people actually celebrate your birthday ending.
I thought Carroll played really well yesterday. He did everything but score. He should have had 1, unlucky with the header but should have done better with the other one where he was on his own in the box. However, thought he held the ball up well, won a few things in the air and got into dangerous positions. The thing that get's me is you watch and every cross/corner/free kick he is man handled by the defender and gets nothing (probably because they are scared to give a penalty) however the slightest of touches to a defender and it's a free kick. It's not just him though, the same happens with Crouch. I think referee's believe that because the defender is smaller they are allowed to do it!?
