There was three incidents that the FA will potentially have to deal with. What are your views on them?

    1) Cabaye's tackle on Spearing. I think he could have been sent off because he was late and had his studs up. However Spearing was stupid enough to dive in originally so he deserves what he got.

    2) Coloccini's elbow on Bellamy. I don't think there was any intention to do harm as Colo was clearly focused on the ball. No further action warranted for me.

    3) Bellamy's racial assault on Krul. He said to Tim Krul "**** off you Dutch ****" while the Sky cameras were on him. Clear evidence and really the FA have no choice but to give him an 8 match ban after the Suarez ordeal. We need to kick racism out of football yet Liverpool seem to be promoting racism at the moment.

I don't think either Cabaye or Coloccini should get bans, i know cabaye's challenge was high but i have seen other players get away with that type of challenge without a ban before. However bellamy should get a 16 match ban as liverpool don't seem to get the message racism isn't allowed in football:)

    1) Agree.

2)No harm intended, just a massive height difference.

3)He should in theory be banned for 8 games but won't. Media won't make a big deal of it and there will be no pressure on the FA to charge Bellamy. If I was Krul I would be a right twat and make an official compliant to the FA and get the club to make one as well, normally I would probably let it slide but Bellamy is a right little choad.

    1) Was a red card in my mind. Don't think Cabaye did it deliberately, but it was a shocking tackle nonetheless

    2) Nothing wrong. Collo had his eyes on the ball and was using his arms for leverage.

    3) I really do sympathise with the FA on this rasicm argument. It's a complete minefield, whatever they do somebody will complain and it's a very serious matter. I personally don't feel like I could make a call on it. Besides it's nice and cosy up here on my fence <ok>

If the FA punish Cabaye I'll be ****ing seething. The amount of times our players have been assaulted (Song and Fellaini immediately spring to mind) and the FA do nothing. It was dirty from Cabaye, and I wouldn't have complained too much if he'd gone, but Scholes used to leave his foot in like that every time he was tackled, and I don't see why it should be Cabaye's responsibility to hurdle clear over the top of him to avoid contact. Jamie Redknapp effectively said it should be a red because of what Milias was sent off for, that was one of the most ridiculous sending offs I've seen for a long time.

Bellamy: The FA have made a rod for their own back here. Suarez was charged with "using insulting words" and clearly that applies to Bellamy. If they're consistent (unlikely) then Bellamy will get an eight game ban. I don't think he should though, and I don't think Suarez should've and I don't think Suarez should've been banned today either for his "offensive gesture". The game is being completely over-sanitised.

The Dutch are not a race, they're a nation. I'm not sure daying 'Dutch ****' is covered by racism laws... but there again when and where does logic ever enter into anything the FA does.

(btw At first I was all over Suarez getting a huge ban but the more I read I'm starting to feel 8 was harsh and whatever ban he got Evra should have shared.)

I agree about Bellamy mind, he's a horrible piece of work, always was and always will be. Good player obviously and his chippiness seems to work for him but he must be one of the most disliked-by-neutrals players there is.

Not sure what was wrong with you lot tonight - that team spirit with everyone working their bollocks off that was so impressive seems to have evaporated.

Is calling someone a Dutch **** really racist though?
If I was playing in France and a player shouted "Casse-toi vous anglais le con!" I wouldn't exactly report them as it's not like they've used a derogatory term related to race.

If I got snapped in half by some German player and muttered something like "That German bastard" I'd find it harsh being banned for 8 games.

Meh, guess the FA have set themselves up for double standards and all that jazz.

think Spearing deserving what he got is a bit ****ing harsh, could have easily been a bone breaker that one - is that deserved?

wreckless from Cabaye absolutely, but not intentional, studs up challenges are certainly not deserved

As its Bellamy, yeah a 20 match ban is fair but in reality this PC world is out of control. If people were this sensitive half the world will be walking round beebling all the time. Racism? Only in a truly warped society.

Cabaye was bad but I can see how it came about. Spearing went in to get the ball and nail Cabaye to send a message. It was an overly aggressive tackle but he got the ball. Cabaye decided to protect himself as he saw it coming but you can't do what he did, it was nasty. Understandable and a common event in football. I don't think he'll get a ban as there was enough doubt.
Colo has no case to answer, this sort of thing can happen. If you're on the receiving end you feel wronged but I don't think it was intentional.

Colo's was definitely an accident. He was going for the ball and was only using his arm for strength.

What Bellamy said was unpleasant, but I'm not sure if it's considered racist. I don't think the FA will take any action on that.
